Middle Eastern States

The conflicts of the middle east has been an ongoing thing since the great war. When the treat of Versailles was accepted the staes like France and Great Britain thought about how they were going to divide up the middle east. But the middle east were not in favor of giving up there land. The land was beneficial to them because it had natural resources which gave them more money and their income. AFter the holocasut many people felt bad for the jews and had no idea what was going on. The Balfour Declaration stated that Palestine would be split into two parts one for Isreal and on for Palestine. I dont know if these group will ever get along neither of them like each other and Isreal will never be willing to give up their land. I think one day they just need to come to terms and realize that that was the past and it is over with.

Czarist Russia

The Russian ans tsar Nobility had a population of only 1 percent of the population had most of the control of land in Russia. The nobility status was hereditary. The tsar didn't have to worry about money they owned millions of acres of land which was over one million serfs or slaves. Tsar Peter the great started the tradtion that all Russians owed service to their government. The nobles became military officers or govermment officals and in turn the government gave them money serf and land up to 1861. Even thought the russian nobles were rich they still held little power than you would think. The tsra had the most authority over the people of the russian empire and pretty much everything else. The nobles decided to switch to more modern farming and grow more profitable crops like sugar beats and wheat. The nobles has slaves which they could sell or do anything else they wanted to.Some nobles fell into debt but most nobles kept their wealth.I think the nobility would not like the idea of revolution becasue they want all the power and do not want to change that. When your nobility you want it done your way and your not used to being told no and people overthrowing you.

Imperialism

The main goal of imperialism is to take over a weaker nation and change their way of life. The british wanted control over africa as did germany, Portugal, etc. Since they believed in Social Darwinism which means "survival of the fittest" they thought the could overpower the african tribes. Later it was told that The land that they controlled became colonies for the poeple that controlled them. Great Britain and the Boers were impacted by imperialism. From 1899-1902 they had a war going between them known as the Boer war which later great britain invaded and seized south africa. The Boers didnt agree with the british role so they decied to leave. The opium war was another war with britain, this time against china from 1839 to 1842. There were different motives used by the europeans that helped them seize nations. Exploratory helped them get more control when they found new lands they could bring their own beliefs and customs to.They could also use their knowledge to conduct medical research and possibly find new natural resources in an unknown place. Political was also a big motive europeans used. It helped them expand territory, to excerise military force and basically just gain alot more power.Economic motives was all about making money. Alot of europeans opened businesses to create new markets for products and for cheap labor. It was all about the power.
